Central NL Motorcycle Ride for Dad 

Central NL Motorcycle Ride for Dad is on June 8, 2013. Registration is at Scotiabank Gander 8:00-9:30. Mark it off on your calendars and come out and ride.

It's official - the Corner Brook Motorcycle Ride for Dad is being held on June 15, 2013.  Stay tuned for more information.

With us in the picture is Christa Tucker, Purchasing Manager with Newfoundland Distributors - also a corporate sponsor of the Motorcycle Ride For Dad and a major retailer of DeWalt products throughout NL. DeWalt is a major corporate sponsor of the Motorcycle Ride For Dad and we value their support a great deal.

The Motorcycle Ride For Dad is very proud to have the continuing corporate support of N.D. Dobbin Ltd. Thank-you to Holly and her very professional staff at N.D. Dobbin Ltd. for supporting the Motorcycle Ride For Dad and the Fight Against Prostate Cancer.

The Captain's Club Appreciation night was held this evening, April 24, 2013 at Mile 1 Harley. We would like to thank all of the Captain's Club members for attending. We also want to express our thanks to Mile 1 Harley for hosting this event

What a Great Way to End of Day on June 15, 2013

Our February Executive Meeting was held at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre. It started with a tour of Dr. Kao’s laboratory, followed by a question & answer period. We thanked Dr. Kao for his recognition of the MRFD support in his press conference in January. This was followed with a check presentation for  $46,675.00! WOW! Also present for this tour and presentation was Rick Daw, Vice Chair, Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation. It was all very interesting, informative and exciting. We want to thank each and every one of you for your part in supporting the Motorcycle Ride for Dad.

On November 9, 2012, Walmart opened their new store on Topsail Road, St. john's NL. As part of the ceremony, Walmart presented the Avalon Chapter Motorcycle Ride For Dad a cheque for $9,807.00. Here is a huge THANK YOU WALMART from the Avalon Chapter Motorcycle Ride For Dad.

The Organizing Committee of the Avalon Chapter, Motorcycle Ride For Dad, would like to thank the many participants, volunteers, sponsors and the communities for making this year’s ride a great success. Nearly 700 riders raised $72,000 in registration fees and pledges!
