Prostate Cancer Canada Network – Oakville Mississauga

If you or a loved one has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer, apart from your doctor who do you talk to? Starting in April 2011 our the Oakville/Mississauga Prostate Cancer Canada Network Support Group will be organizing a 6 week support group using SKYPE over the internet. They are NOT trying to sell anything! They just want to provide support to those who don’t have the luxury of a prostate cancer support group in their region. The Oakville/Mississauga support group has been meeting each month for the last 12 years.
Each SKYPE group will have a maximum of 12 participants and each meeting will last 2 hours. Some meetings will have an expert in one of the related areas. Meetings will be organized by a trained facilitator who is also a survivor.
All you need is a computer,a microphone and a FREE membership on Skype. The sessions will only be audio. There is NO cost for the service but the rewards are priceless.
